A custom start page can be extremely beneficial if you find yourself visiting a lot of the same links over and over. I have created one for myself, that now, I could not live without! Bookmarks and shortcuts are adequate for saving your favorite web pages, but with a little time involved you can have a better way to have quick links to all of your favorite sites, or at least in my opinion.

I have provided a link to the left to take you to the start page I have created for myself to give you an idea of what I am talking about.

Note that if you choose to make one for yourself you will put it on your hard drive and this will speed the access times up tremendously.

So don't try it from this link and say it's just too slow and therefore not worth messing with. Once you look at my start page you can also download it using the download link to the left and then use it as a template and modify it to suit your own purposes. For some brief explanations of how to modify some of the source code click on the customizing link on the left. The last link on the left explains how you can set your browser to automatically open you custom start page as soon as you open it.
